Due to unforeseen circumstances we have to move the date to 27th February
Dear Combe Martin Kayak Club Members,
The start of the kayaking season is fast approaching, and to kick things off we would like to invite you to a social evening and AGM.
This will take place at the Combe Martin Bowls Club on Friday 27th February. The evening will be a relaxed and social one, starting with a short AGM, followed by a skittles evening and a light buffet. The bar will be open.
We also want to let members know that our incredibly efficient, super-organised, and amazing Secretary/Treasurer, Phillippa Shone, has decided to step down from the committee after 8 years of outstanding service.
The committee would like to thank Phillippa sincerely for everything she has done to keep the kayak club on the straight and narrow. Without her dedication to managing membership, applying for grants, and ensuring compliance, the club would not be in the healthy position it is in today. Her contribution has been truly invaluable.
As a result, we are now looking for a new Secretary and Treasurer. These roles could be combined, so if you are interested or would like further details, please get in touch with Gilly.
We are always looking for additional committee members for other roles.
We look forward to seeing you at the social evening on 27th February.
