About this Event
Join the Chicago Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for an inspiring cultural journey through Chicago’s historic Bronzeville neighborhood on Sunday, April 19 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
In partnership with Mahogany Tours, this guided experience will explore the rich legacy of Bronzeville — once known as the “Black Metropolis” — and its profound influence on Black art, entrepreneurship, civic leadership, and culture. Participants will gain deeper insight into the neighborhood’s role in the Great Migration and the generations of visionaries who shaped its enduring impact.
The tour will begin and end at:
Honor the Collective, 2930 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL
Following the tour, guests are invited to remain for a reception at Honor The Collective and experience the powerful exhibition:
Lost Love: A JOURNEY OF RESILIENCE
An intimate exhibition honoring seven widowed women as they reflect on enduring love, profound loss, and the resilience that carries them forward.
Refreshments will be available as we gather in fellowship, reflection, and community.
