Naar jaarlijkse traditie sluit Cluster Philharmonic het academiejaar af met een groots concert! Onder leiding van dirigent Michel Tilkin duikt het orkest in de meeslepende wereld van de vroege 20e-eeuwse romantiek. Ze brengen enkele van de belangrijkste werken uit het symfonische repertoire, met een betoverend programma van componisten Sibelius en Rachmaninoff. Daarnaast worden ze dit jaar ook vergezeld door de fantastische violiste An-Sofie Perneel, die het Vioolconcerto van Sibelius als soliste zal spelen!
Cluster Philharmonic begon in juni 2021 als een mogelijkheid voor studenten om na de lockdown weer in een orkest te kunnen spelen, maar komt sinds 2023 jaarlijks samen om het academiejaar op een mooie manier af te sluiten. Het orkest bestaat voornamelijk uit studenten van het Lemmens zelf, maar brengt ook andere muzikanten als ex-studenten en studenten uit andere conservatoria samen!
Kom genieten van dit fantastische concert met groot orkest en prachtige muziek! Het concert heeft gratis toegang en vindt plaats in de concertzaal van het Lemmens.
Achteraf kunt u genieten van een lekker drankje bij onze zomerbar op de binnenkoer. Hierna is er de mogelijkheid om deel te nemen aan een overheerlijke BBQ, en voor de feestbeesten eindigen we de avond met onze jaarlijkse eindejaarsfuif. Maar daarover later meer!

By annual tradition, Cluster Philharmonic concludes the academic year with a grand concert! Under the direction of conductor Michel Tilkin, the orchestra dives into the captivating soundworld of early 20th-century romanticism. The program features some of the most significant works from the symphonic repertoire, with an enchanting program by Sibelius and Rachmaninoff. This year, they are also joined by the outstanding violinist An-Sofie Perneel, who will perform Sibelius’ Violin Concerto as soloist.
Cluster Philharmonic started in June 2021 as a way for students to return to orchestral playing after the lockdown. Since 2023, the orchestra has come together annually to mark the end of the academic year in a festive way. The orchestra consists mainly of students from Lemmens, while also bringing together other musicians like alumni and students from other conservatories!
Join us for this wonderful concert featuring a large symphony orchestra and fantastic music! Entry is free, and the concert will take place in the concert hall of Lemmens.
After the concert, you are warmly invited to enjoy a refreshing drink at our summer bar in the courtyard. This will be followed by a delicious BBQ, and for those ready to celebrate, we will end the evening with our annual end-of-year party. More details to come!
