As one of the first events of the year, the club will be visiting Bletchley Park on 1st March. Bletchley is home to the museum dedicated to Alan Turing and his team of experts who, during the Second World War, broke the German and Japanese military encryption codes, allowing the allies to save thousands of lives and shorten the war. More information about Bletchley Park can be found here:https://www.bletchleypark.org.uk
Adult entry is £28.00 per person, reduced to £25.50 for those aged over 60. If we have a group of 12 or more people entry is reduced to £22.75 per person.
The museum is open from 9.30 - 17.00, and there is car parking on site. To accommodate people having to travel a distance, we are proposing a midday meeting time.
