We're heading to Lakewood's Resort again this year on the club trip. This resort worked out very good for us last year due to the restaurant and bar on site. We're able to eat breakfast there before we leave for the day's ride, and hang out back at the bar in the evening after riding.
We'll be heading up Thursday afternoon and can check in after 3pm ( I believe). We'll be riding all day Friday, Saturday, and for the morning on Sunday if members would like to do that.
Costs for lodging are:
$199 for a single
$398 for a couple
This is total cost for Thursday- Sunday, and includes taxes. I'll be providing a spreadsheet to the resort with room assignments, and as you arrive you will check in and provide your credit card for payment for your own room under our group rate.
I think our group is going to be large enough this year that we will probably split into 2 groups while riding. We can always plan on going to the same stops, and and even leave stops together, but the "faster" group will leave in front and move at a faster pace. The slower group will follow up behind us, and go to the next stop. It's nice to keep each group "together" by being sure to stop at stop signs and intersections, and be sure the whole group is there before you ride again. So, each group will stay together. No need to worry about getting separated and lost.
