Our second instalment of a club night talk taking place on Monday 13th April 2026…Bristol Pegasus Motor Club Night - Talk by Jeremy Walton:
Jeremy Walton has worked in motoring and motorsports media since 1967 and is currently working on his 38th book to cover a 30-year slice of that life. Best known for his employment at Ford during the heyday of Escort rallying and Capri international racing, he also competed in 6 x 24 hour races. Plus multiple saloon car categories, club rallying, auto/rallycross sprints and hillclimbs with Fords, Emery Imp GT, Fiat-Abarth, Fiat X1/9, Lotus, VW Golf GTi and BMW coupe hardware.
Walton’s books covered Ford [Escort, Capri, Cosworth to Sierra and Mondeo], Lotus [Esprit & Elise], original Mini Cooper & S, with more recent work on Audi quattro and BMW [racing plus 3 and 6 Series]. Jeremy lived in Somerset in the 1960s-- and has inhabited a Wiltshire house that’s even older than him-- for the last 20 years.
