About this Event
Club Motte is a monthly storytelling night in Berlin where people share true stories from their own lives.
No notes. No poetry. No professional performance experience needed. Just real stories, told live, off the cuff. To tell a story, simply show up, and put your name in a jar, to be picked at random throughout the night.
This month's theme is:
UNRAVEL
Sometimes it's one loose thread. Sometimes it's everything.
The relationship that slowly came apart. The carefully crafted plan that collapsed. The family secret that surfaced. The identity you outgrew. The moment you stopped pretending everything was fine.
But unraveling isn't always a disaster. Sometimes it's freedom. Sometimes it's truth. Sometimes things have to come apart before something new can begin.
Whether your story is funny, painful, absurd, surprising, or unexpectedly hopeful, we'd love to hear it.
Never told a story before? No problem: most of our storytellers take the stage for the very first time at a Club Motte event.
