Its that time of year again when all of us that want a great equine outing, to gather at the White Sands on the full moon, Some riding, eating Potluck, and just plain fun and horsein around comradery! Professional photos of us, our horse, and friends will be available!
HERE IS A LOOSE ITENERARY OF OUR FUN DAY/EVE.

2PM to 3PM: Arrival time at the Sands. Get us and our horses out and acclimate to our new environment. Tack up, the photographer will get some photos set up.
3PM to 4PM: We saddle up and ride around the parking area for a bit getting settled in and ready for the group photo. While we are gathered for the photo, we will get the all-important safety talk and then split into groups depending on how many we are and our disciplines.
4PM -5:30ish PM: We head out for our ride on the Sands for about an hour and a half and come back to set up for our potluck.
6:30 to 7:30: After we eat, we can go out for some moonlight riding. Keep in mind we must be out of the park by 8PM
7:30 to 8:00: Packing up cleanup after ourselves and our horse and goodbyes and exit park. Thank you and I'm looking for a great time with you folks!

IMPORTANT INFO:
1. There is a charge per vehicle to enter the sands.
2. We have our own Equestrian parking; it will show location on the map you receive at the entry gate.
3. Bring a poop bucket as you must take your poop with you when you leave.
4. Bring food and water for your horse it's a long day. Also bring snacks and drinks for yourself.
5. If you are participating in the potluck, please bring a dish. I will be bringing cutlery and paper plates.
6. Our professional photographer will be there, arrangements with her will be announced later.
7. There is a form to fill out before you enter you can find on their website at https://www.nps.gov and print and fill it out for an easier entry.
8. Bring a chair.
9. I would suggest us local NM residents having travel papers for your horse, and if you are coming from out of state a current Coggins and health papers.
10. ABSOLUTLEY NO GREEN EQUINES, AND GREEN RIDERS OR THOSE UNDER 16 MUST BE SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT.
