What Event is This?: Clothing Swap
What Should I Bring?: Any clothing you’d like to swap for another piece of clothing. Here are a few more details:
We encourage humans of all sizes, genders, and style to attend this swap
Number of Items to Bring: 3 - 5 pieces of clothing to swap
Our community wears a multitude of sizes and styles so don’t be afraid to bring a piece you might think isn’t so special.
Types of Clothing: All types of clothing are fair game: accessories, coats, jackets, shoes, tops, mumus, bottoms, dresses, kaftans, hats, scarves, mittens, you name it. Please DO NOT bring underwear, socks, bras, bathing suits, or lingerie.
Condition of Clothing: gently used to new condition. Please DO NOT bring clothing that is dirty, has stains, has rips and tears, or other items that would make a garment unwearable.
Cost: Free with suggested donation of $10 to donate money to cover staffing.
What to Anticipate: When you enter to check in to the event you will be asked to show the items you wish to swap. All gently used, clean, and wearable without (needed) modification items will be given one ticket per item brought to the swap.
Swappable clothing will be placed on different tables sorted by type (accessories, shoes, tops, bottoms, dresses, coats, misc). You are welcome to shop through each of the tables to find items you would like to bring home with you. Each swappable item will cost one ticket each. Before leaving you will “check out” and give your tickets back to our staff.
A handicap accessible bathroom is available for trying items of clothing on.
Don’t see anything that catches your fancy and want to give your tickets to a friend? that’s totally fine! Just be sure to trade your tickets in when you check out.
