Join volunteers from the WSU Snohomish County Extension Sustainable Community Stewards to learn some simple mending techniques for your clothes. No need to donate or trash your favorite pants or socks when you know how to fix them back up!This workshop will include several different stations that each teach a new skill: stitches, darning, sewing a button, and more. Our clothing repair specialists will guide you through each technique, and participants will be given a simple sewing kit to use during the workshop and take home with them. Sample fabric scraps or clothes are provided to practice on.
This workshop is best suited for ages 13 and older.
