Clothes Swap

Looking for an exciting and sustainable way to get new clothes? Want a summer clear out of your wardrobe?

Our clothes swap event is the perfect way to shop eco-friendly whilst getting rid of your unwanted or unworn clothes. Come along to this unique shopping experience, featuring a live DJ and free drinks to hunt for amazing new garms.

How it works:

- Bring 5 - 10 items of clothing.

- You will have have an arrival time slot to check in and grab a free drink before the swap begins. Please be sure to arrive during this time slot for the smooth running of the swap.

- For each item you bring you will recieve one or two stamps which you can use to reedem new items in the swap.

- We grade items in two categories: Grade A (designer, high end high street, high end vintage) and Grade B (high street, unbranded and everything else). Each Grade A item gets you two stamps and each Grade B item gets you one stamp. Use two of your stamps to redeem Grade A items and one stamp to redeem Grade B items.

- Check out at the reception desk after you've finished swapping and have your stamp card updated.

- If you have spare stamps at the end you can bring them along to our next swap event.

Tickets + Timings:

- Session 1 = 10:30am - 11:15am registration, then swap from 11:15am till 12:45pm

- Session 2 = 2:00pm - 2:45pm registration, then swap from 2:45pm till 4:15pm

- Earlybird tickets are free, general admission tickets are £2 per person.

- Please keep a record of your confirmation email for entry.

- We strongly encourage you to pre book your ticket as we cannot confirm if on the door tickets will be available.

- Information about on the door tickets will be added here and on our Instagram on Friday 19th August.

- If a session you would like to attend has sold out, please join the waitlist.

What to bring:

- We accept all items of clothing, paired shoes and bags.

- We ask you to bring minimum of 5 items and a maximum of 10 items.

- We do not accept children's or baby clothes, underwear, swimwear and jewellery.

- We accept all styles and sizes of clothing.

- Please only bring items that are in good, clean and wearable condition.

- We will turn away any clothes than are not in good swappable condition.

- A reusable bag to take away your new items as we do not provide carrier bags.

We took on board all your feedback from the previous Clothes Swap event and are happy to confirm we will have a more spacious swapping area and more changing room facilities.

TIP: Organise your items into Grade A and B categories before you arrive for a quicker check in experience

Please note: Please only bring items you are happy to swap. Once you have donated an item to the swap you will not be able to change your mind. All garments remaining after the event will be donated to a local Manchester charity.
