On this night, we will complete a ritual honoring of the mother archetype, assisted by local nurses and doulas.

The Closing of the Bones is a traditional postpartum ceremony that originated in South America. It is inititated to support women's physical, emotional, and spiritual recovery after giving birth. We will be expanding this practice in order to honor the journey that we have endured throughout the year. During this event, local nurses and doulas will gently wrap participant's in a robozo (scarf) and offer comforting touch with soothing background music from sound bowls. All women are welcomed. You do not have to be a mother to attend.

This will be a beautiful journey withiin to close our year with reverance and gratitude for all we have experienced in 2024.

This event is faciliated by Lisa-Marie Del Rio, Psy.D. and members of The Red Tent Collective, Corporation.

All attendees will receive a curated gift to continue their personal healing journeys.
