The Connecticut Morgan Horse Association is thrilled to unveil its exclusive Closing Night Fete on December 7, 2024, at 6:30 PM, hosted at the Flying Canoe tasting room , home of Morgan Horse Bourbon. This event, reserved for our esteemed members and their guests, is a unique opportunity to celebrate the culmination of a successful season of equestrian sport in a relaxed, informal setting. The event will feature cocktails crafted by master mixologists, delectable canapes, and sumptuous sweets set in the Flying Canoe's cozy chalet. Additionally, guests can enjoy a blazing fire outdoors in the winter woods, just outside the Flying Canoe. We are grateful for the continued support from the John Fitch Distilling Company, home of Morgan Horse Bourbon, for supporting our first Fete and for their sponsorship of the 2024 season. The Closing Night Fete will not replace the Opening Night Party, which traditionally takes place at the Bushnell Center for Performing Arts in the spring and celebrates our high-point winners.
"A Fete is a celebration, and that is precisely what we want to do: celebrate! This event is a way for CMHA to celebrate our members and the end of another great season with our four-legged partners in a less formal setting. I speak for all of us at CMHA when I say I cannot wait to see everyone enjoying a cocktail in their best flannel and duck boots."
Adam Lagosz, CMHA Vice-President.
