Iyuana: El Retorno De Los Sueños - Film and Photography Exhibition

Through photography, film, and storytelling, we invite you to encounter the Sápara people's language, their relationship with dreams, their traditional clothing, their sacred ceremonies, and the profound connection they maintain with the Amazonian forest.

This exhibition has been created in collaboration with members of the Sápara Nation and a small, independent team committed to preserving and sharing their ancestral knowledge. It is a grassroots effort, made possible through the dedication, personal contributions, and collective work of the artists and collaborators themselves, including Sápara artist Yanda Montahuano.

This is a donation-based event. Contributions of any amount, from small to large, are deeply appreciated. This helps support the Sápara collaborators, and the continued sharing and preservation of this important cultural work.

By attending and supporting you become part of this collective effort to amplify Indigenous voices and support the preservation of one of the world's most endangered cultures and languages. We hope this experience inspires curiosity, reflection, and a deeper appreciation for the knowledge the Sápara people continue to protect for future generations.
