Clockwork Hero - Live at Music City Starfactory | Grunge Rock

Clockwork Hero is a hard-hitting trio from Stockton, California, blending the raw edge of grunge with the weight of hard rock and the depth of alternative. Drawing inspiration from bands like Deftones, Alice in Chains, A Perfect Circle, Breaking Benjamin, and Chevelle, their music dives into the emotional highs and lows of relationships, delivered with powerful vocals, moody melodies, and crushing guitar riffs.

Fronted by Sam York (vocals, guitar), with Steve Strain on drums and backing vocals, Josh Clarke on guitar, and a custom-programmed bass rig affectionately dubbed “Laptop Laptop,” Clockwork Hero brings a unique energy both sonically and on stage. Their live shows are a contrast of intensity and humor—deep, heartfelt songs delivered with an occasionally off-the-wall stage presence that keeps crowds engaged and entertained.

In 2024, the band hit the road with Alien Ant Farm and shared stages with acts like Trapt and Smile Empty Soul, gaining momentum and a loyal following. With a high-energy live show and a growing catalog of emotionally charged songs, Clockwork Hero is setting its sights on broader touring opportunities in 2025 as a support act for national touring artists.
