🎗️ Clips for Cancer – A Bold Stance Against Childhood Cancer
Every September, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Clips for Cancer brings the Southwest Florida community together in a powerful show of support for children battling cancer at Golisano Children’s Hospital. Pediatric cancer survivors take the clippers to the heads of local leaders, first responders, and supporters—raising awareness and critical funds for Barbara’s Friends, the hospital’s pediatric cancer fund.
💛 Since its inception, the event has raised over $1.4 million to ensure that no child is denied care due to financial hardship. Proceeds help cover treatment costs, transportation, medication, and even scholarships for survivors.
Come out for a day of fun and community spirit as we raise awareness for childhood cancer!
