About this Event
The bioethics team at Deakin Universityโs School of Medicine is offering a one day, fully catered, interprofessional short course focusing on advanced issues in Clinical Ethics of Perioperative Care. This is designed to be taken following completion of the one day Clinical Ethics of Perioperative Care Part 1 short course, which will be held on 8th December.
The course has been designed by Deakin Bioethics in collaboration with clinicians involved in perioperative care. Participants will explore recent developments and debates in clinical ethics, with a focus on complex ethical challenges for those working in perioperative care.
Providing a practical introduction to ethical decision-making, the course will facilitate learning through the use of case studies and interprofessional, facilitated small group discussions. For information about faculty involved in the course including local and international speakers, panelists, and facilitators, as well the final program of topics to be covered, please download the flyer here, or contact us at [email protected]. . Please note that more information about local and international faculty will be provided closer to the date. You can view information about faculty involved in previous iterations of the course here.
The course will be held at Deakin's beautiful corporate campus, "Deakin Downtown", 727 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.
Tickets are inclusive of course materials and refreshments (coffee, morning & afternoon tea, lunch).
All attendees will receive a certificate of completion, identifying the number of CPD hours for the workshop.
