Tuesday, July 2, 2024 (6 p.m. - 8 p.m.): Climate Smart City Initiatives at the Cox Science Center STEM Building Speakers: WPBF 25 Chief Certified Meteorologist and City of West Palm Beach Office of Sustainability
Save money and the planet! The City of West Palm Beach and the University of Florida IFAS Extension are teaming up to host the Climate Smart Floridians Program, providing residents with research-based information about local climate change.
This eight module program guides residents to becoming climate stewards. Each unit tackles how we, as individuals, contribute to greenhouse gases and climate change, and outlines steps to reduce our impact.

Registration is required. Limited class size. Attend one or all modules! Upon completion of all 8 modules, a special certificate will be awarded.
