As part of the Lanarkshire Climate Action Festival taking place from 8-21 September 2025 SAB action a group will be offering the below event for the Community.Join Strutherhill and Birkenshaw (SAB) Action Group for an afternoon of fun, friendly, wildlife activities! Make things to take home to help birds, bees, butterflies, and other beasties.
FREE Child Event!
Saturday 13th September 12:00 until 14:00
1st Session 12:10
2nd Session 13:10
Build a Bug hotel (from recycled materials) and create a new home for minibeasts.
Make a Bird feeder to give ’Oor Buster’ and other birds something to eat.
Sow a Seed bomb. These wildflowers will make homes and food for all sorts of bugs. And birds eat bugs and seeds too.
Chat with us about how helping wildlife, helps with Climate change too!
There will also be an adults-only workshop, teaching you hacks for cleaning supplies made from household items.
Each Child Workshop has 20 spaces make sure you book!
Under certain ages Parent/Guardian will be required to support.
