About this Event
Enlighten students about the profound effects of climate change on our oceans and the delicate ecosystems within. Through engaging discussions and interactive activities, students look into the rising temperatures, ocean acidification, and melting ice that threaten marine life, while exploring the crucial role oceans play in regulating climate and sustaining life on Earth.
Some of the guided activities:
- Create a climate change model to showcase the greenhouse effect.
- Discover the effects of ocean acidification and how humans contribute to the problem.
- Design a device to remove debris from the ocean and learn how scientists are tackling this important environmental challenge.
