Join Aberdeen Climate Action for a free hybrid climate cafe (our 101st) to hear about "The Military and Climate Change" to the carbon cost assocaited with defense and reflections on how to react to it. Its not a subject often covered. There will be two talks
Stuart Parkinson of Scientists for Global Responsibility: The global surge in military spending and military carbon emissions
Kate Whitacker of Friends of the Earth Scotland: Take the toys from the boys: masculinity, militarism and fossil fuels
After the talks there will be about 40 minutes of Q&A.
