Clifton House is one of the oldest and most beautiful buildings in Belfast. 2024 is an important year for us as we celebrate 250 years since its doors first opened as a Poorhouse in 1774.
To mark this special anniversary, join us for a unique guided tour which will explore the early development of Clifton House and its evolution through the years, during which time it has survived rebellions and revolutions while continuing to look after the welfare of the people of the city. Visitors will also have an opportunity to view a new exhibition, which changes each month, and helps to tell our story.
