Self fascia-release workshops with Jana Castillo

Luail Ireland’s National Company announcesa series of workshops with Australian dancer and choreographer Jana Castillo in Limerick, Tipperary, Galway, Dublin and Belfast this October.

This workshop series, focused on 'self-fascia-release' will equip dancers with aneasy-to-learn technique to enhance and support their movement practice. Fascia, a continuous structure throughout the body, plays a crucial role in movement and can become restricted due to injury, stress, trauma or the everyday challenges of modernlife.

Alongside her own movement practice, Jana’s workshop focuses on 'self-fascia-release' which is designed to equip dancers with an easy-to-learn technique to enhance and support their movement practice.

Jana’s approach facilitates the release of tightened fascia, promoting increased malleability and greater resilience—essential for dancers navigating physical challenges.
