Whether you are curious about creating or a seasoned artist, or somewhere in between, our Cleveland Multi-Arts Retreat at Story Church in Mayfield Heights is for you! We will gather to fellowship, collaborate, and create with our Creator by spending time in prayer, in the Word, and in community. This is a time of retreat and refreshment, so come prepared to create and rest.
Please bring whatever materials you need to create (instrument, pens, pencils, laptop, paints, easels, etc). Here are a few notes about what to expect:
Friday Night Schedule:
Doors Open for conversation and coffee/tea
Dinner + Introductions
A short-creative exercise for each retreat medium
A short time to create & connect
Saturday Schedule:
Light breakfast and worship
Individual time to create & connect
Lunch in Mayfield Heights
Creation & connection time
Art share: what we created over the weekend
Blessing and dismissal
Friday night dinner, and Saturday light breakfast will be provided. Story Church is near a lot of restaurants, so we’ve built in time to go out and share a meal together!
We’ve intentionally designed our twenty-four hours to foster connection and collaboration, as well as solitude and quiet where you need it. If you’ve never been to a retreat like this before, don’t worry—Karly Smith and Rachel Wilhelm will be available to guide you along the way.
