Cleveland International Wine Festival 2025

A True Celebration of Wine from Across the World
This will be the biggest wine weekend that Cleveland has ever seen. Taste CLE and Driftwood Catering is putting together a full weekend of wine fun with events such as a wine dinners, education classes, speciality tastings, grand tasting, bubbles and brunch and more. You can pick 1 or all of the options to go to. It’s all a-la-carte. You’ll get a chance to meet winemakers, national sales people, the ones that live and breath these wines. Many of which are sommeliers and are full of knowledge.

The most popular is the Grand Tasting which is 4 hours in the main ballroom where there will be 30 wineries all sampling out some of their wines. This also includes food stations that will be themed based on the various countries and their wines. You’ll get a souvenir glass as well.

There are also classes available for before the grand tasting. Everything from Wine 101 to a high end Bordeaux tasting. And for the VIPs, you get in one hour early and get the chance to taste premium wines that are rare and score big. You’ll also get food to pair with these wines.

CLASS INFO
Each class will have it’s own theme and are limited to about 30 people per class.
WINE 101 – A class for the wine drinker that really wants to learn about taste, smell and how to properly speak about wines, where they come from and basic pairings. There will be 5 wines included in the sampling and the class will be lead by a certified wine educator.
BLIND TASTING – This is going to be a ton of fun. There will be 5 wines from around the globe and you will get a sheet where you can make notes on smell, taste, visuals and more. Then you guess which wines is what. You’ll need to guess varietal, region and country. Winner gets a special bottle of wine to take home.
A BORDEAUX EXPERIENCE
For the true french wine drinker, some of the best wines in the world. We did this class at the last event and it was one of the best by far. There will be 8 wines from the region, both the right bank and left bank. A certified sommelier will guide you through the tasting teaching you everything about Bordeaux.

VIP TASTING
One of our most popular parts of the event. This is where you’ll find some hard to get bottles, low allocation bottles one wines that score big. Our VIP tasting will also include food that will pair with these gorgeous wines. Full list will be announced soon.

GRAND TASTING
Over 100 wines for you to sample and learn from winemakers, national sales managers, sommeliers and the true professionals that make wine their lives. Food is included as well and there will be multiple food stations themed by country so you can pair your wines with the food from that area. Over the 4 hour grand tasting, you’ll get to try wines from all around the world. The education you’ll get from this tasting is priceless.
