Tom Thakkar is a comedian, podcaster, and writer living in Los Angeles, CA. He started his career in Bloomington, Indiana, where he was born and raised, a half Indian man with a deadbeat Indian father who he never met. Tom moved up the midwest circuit, and was named a New Face by the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, and quickly moved to New York, and eventually to Los Angeles. He's now been seen on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, CONAN, Comedy Central Presents, This Week at
the Comedy Cellar, and much much more.
In New York, he became a regular at the world famous Comedy Cellar, and works at almost every club in the city. He can also be heard as a regular on everybody's favorite new podcast "Are You Garbage," as well as on "We Might Be Drunk," "The Honeydew," "Doug Loves Movies," "Never Not Funny," "All Fantasy Everything," and more. Tom also hosted the Comedy Central podcast, "Stand Up with Tom Thakkar," and popular comedy/music podcast "Stand By Your Band," with Tommy McNamara.
On top of stand up and podcasting, Tom acted in the award winning short film "Sofa So Good" and wrote and appeared on the SyFy comedy sketch show, "The Movie Show." Right now, Tom can be seen touring around the country performing stand up almost every week, and on his new YouTube series "Tom Thakkar's Road Diary."

The Plus is a full service bar and restaurant. Food and drink will be available at the show. Seating is first come, first serve.
All advanced tickets are will-call, e-ticket, or print-at-home. No physical tickets will be delivered for the performance. When you buy in advance, your name will appear on a list at the door to assure your entry.
Please pay close attention to the show start time. We open the doors to the main room at 6pm for people who would like to eat before or during the show. We do this to put less stress on our staff, and make it easier for those who want the best seats. The show does not start until 7:30pm. You are allowed to enter the main room if you are eating dinner before we start checking tickets.
Online sales close at 6pm the day of the show. If you miss the window for online sales - don't worry - tickets can be purchased at the door when the doors open at 7pm. The show is not - we repeat - not sold out unless there is a separate announcement indicating so. Please do not call the restaurant.
No photos or video recording are allowed during the performance.
The Plus and Clear Water Comedy reserve the right to refuse service or deny entry for anyone engaging in disruptive or disrespectful behavior. No talking, heckling, texting, or other distracting behavior is permitted. If this occurs and you are asked to leave the show, there will be no refunds.
