Depart from Deering Estate’s boat basin on a guided clear kayak tour of Biscayne Bay. Our transparent vessels give you an up close and uninhibited view of the marine life below as you paddle over sea-grass beds and head into a mangrove forest.This program is for adults & youth ages 9+. All kayaks are two seat / tandem kayaks. We recommend purchasing tickets in sets of two; single-registered kayakers will be paired up with another single-registered kayaker. Participants ages 9-17 must be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian in the same kayak.
Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable paddling clothing that can get wet, bug spray, snacks, and water. Bugs & mosquitos are very common, please come prepared. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
Cost: $50 person (members and non-members). Spaces are limited! Ticket price includes general admission to the Estate during regular Estate hours (10AM to 4PM) the same day of your program.
Tour meets at the Visitor Center.
