In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll sculpt your very own whale shark-shaped dish — perfect as a jewelry holder, trinket tray, or simply a charming piece of ocean-themed decor.
Using hand-building techniques like slab rolling, shaping, and texturing, you'll learn how to form your clay into the silhouette of a gentle whale shark, complete with signature fins, gills, and dotted patterns. Finish it off with your choice of paint or glaze to bring your sea creature to life!
What You’ll Do:
-Learn the basics of hand-building with clay
-Shape and sculpt a functional whale shark dish
-Add textures, patterns, and colors to personalize your piece
-Take home a one-of-a-kind ocean-inspired creation
-Duration: 1.5 hours
-Skill Level: All levels welcome — perfect for beginners
-Ages: Adults & Teens (ages 12+ recommended)
All Materials Provided! Just bring your creativity and a love for the ocean.
-This workshop is a two step process. You will create your item and it will be fired. After it's first firing you will receive a phone call and come back to paint your master piece.
