In this workshop, attendees (ages 13 and up) will embark on a journey of clay handbuilding to craft their very own majestic tree plaque, approximately 9 inches in diameter. With expert guidance from our skilled instructors, you'll learn the art of shaping and sculpting clay into branches, leaves, and textures, bringing your tree to life in exquisite detail.
But the magic doesn't stop there! Each piece comes equipped with a convenient wire hanger on the back, ready to adorn your walls with natural beauty. And because good things take time, your creation will undergo an initial firing after the workshop, ensuring its durability and longevity.
Within 10 days, you'll receive a notification to return for the second part of your artistic journey – the glazing phase! Glazing can be done during any of our drop in hours, so your second visit need not be scheduled.

This project is appropriate for ages 13 and up, no previous clay experience is required. Teens age 13-16 may also purchase a seat if attending with a paid adult.
Your piece will be fired within 10 days of the workshop and your purchase includes an additional visit to glaze your piece.
Our clay glazing policy is as follows: projects created in Clay Workshop need to be glazed within 2 weeks of firing or they can pick up and save them to bring back in the next 90 days to glaze if they need more time. Projects older than 90 days can still be glazed and fired for a $10 fee. We may not be able to fire older projects in November and December.
