Clay Play with Erica Lores

Celebrate Earth Month with an intentional ceramics workshop experience with Miami-based ceramic artist Erica Lores from Maracuyá Studio. Rooted in the natural elements, this hands-on experience invites you to slow down, reconnect with the earth, and tap into your inner artist as you hand-build a mug or bowl meant for everyday rituals. A little clay play can be as nourishing, as fun, or as healing as you choose to make it.

Erica Lores will guide you step by step and teach you a few essential techniques for working with clay. After you have sculpted your form, you will have the opportunity to decorate it and make your ceramic piece unique, transforming raw clay into a functional object that reflects your creativity and connection to the natural world.

All levels are welcome! No experience necessary.

This event will take place at Tala Beach, located at 1 Hotel South Beach.

All pieces will be glazed with a food-safe clear glaze and fired by Erica Lores in her studio. Your creation will be available for pick up/delivery 3-5 weeks after the event.
