Clay Parker and Jodi James are a singer/songwriter duo from the bayous of Louisiana.
Like Shovels & Rope, Clay and Jodi were solo musicians who crossed paths and quickly realized they could sound twice as powerful as a duo. Together, they craft songs that combine lyrical storytelling with a raw, down-to-earth delivery that skirts the line between folk and Americana. Their most recent album “YOUR VERY OWN DREAM” (2024) explores dark lit stories and the people who populate them, with all their intricacies and instrumental finesse.
