The legendary King of the Chitlin Circuit, Bobby Rush, comes to The Sound Bar stage for the first time Thursday, January 9th! Three time Grammy Award winner, six time Grammy Nominee, 14 time Blues Music Award winner, B.B. King Entertainer of the Year, Blues Hall of Fame member, Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame, and Rhythm & Blues Music Hall of Fame inductee and global headliner, Bobby spent decades on the Chitlin Circuit, including many stops at our beloved Bradfordville Blues Club. Bobby, known for his ribald, sweaty booty shakin' shows, is a masterful entertainer, prolific song writer, renowned guitarist, singer, blues harp player and author whose solo performances showcase his multiple talents. This will be a solo appearance with Tallahassee's Chris Balding & Brett Wellman opening the show.
