About this Event
Be apart of history and attend the second annual Clay Olympics at the Murray Hill Art center! This will be a 2 hour event with 4 different challenges. The event will be on Sunday March 23rd. Some wheel throwing experience is required.
Each event will have a time limit.
The first challenge will be who can throw the tallest cylinder with 1 pound of clay.
The second challenge is who can make the widest bowl with 1.5 pounds of clay.
The third challenge is who can pull the longest handle with 1/2 a pound of clay.
The forth challenge is tallest coil pot with 3 pounds of clay.
There will be a 5th mystery event if time allows!
Madison Schott will be the host and judge of this event. Clay and tools are included. Due to the fast paced nature of this event the pottery will not be fired but the clay will be recycled. Please bring a towel and non slip shoes. Refunds available but claim has to be made 7 days before the event.
