Clay en Español is a beginner-friendly wheel throwing experience designed for participants who would like to practice and improve their Spanish while learning pottery. Instruction is conducted primarily in Spanish, creating an immersive and welcoming environment, while English support is available during one-on-one instruction and whenever needed to ensure student success.
This workshop is intended for complete beginners and requires no prior pottery or Spanish experience.
Each participant receives three 1 lb balls of clay
Wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing, keep hands free of Jewelry
Class will be held at 420 22nd st. S.
Participants will create multiple pieces during class and select their favorite two vessels to keep. All selected work will be trimmed, glazed, and prepared for firing by the instructor.
