🌸 Handbuilding Clay Class: Hanging Flower Pocket 🌸

Create a charming handmade hanging flower pocket in this beginner-friendly clay class at The Pottery Shop Las Vegas. Perfect for dried flowers, small plants, or simply as a decorative wall piece, this class will guide you through simple handbuilding techniques to shape your piece from clay.

No experience necessary—just come ready to have fun and get a little messy.

Important: This is handbuilding (not wheel throwing).

Ceramics is beautifully unpredictable. Sometimes clay has ✨ main character energy ✨ and may crack, warp, separate at the joins, or break in the kiln. While we guide you every step of the way, we can’t guarantee outcomes — part of the charm is embracing the process.

$40 per person
($10 deposit to hold your seat, remaining balance due in studio the day of class.)

This is a one-part experience. During your visit you’ll:
• Handbuild your wall poclet
• Choose your glaze color

Then we dry it, fire it, glaze it, and fire it again so it’s ready to hang proudly on your wall.

🕒 Turnaround time: approx. 4–6 weeks

⏳ Class length: 1–1.25 hours

Suggested for ages 14+
Ages 12+ welcome with adult assistance (clay does require some hand strength).
Guests 14 and under must be accompanied by a participating adult and spectators are not permitted.
