Artist Samantha L. Grbinick will be hosting a step by step workshop focusing on her methods for carving wheel thrown pottery.
If you are not a currently enrolled Studio 83 pottery student, glazing will be March 1st 1pm-2pm. Pick up time for final pieces will be March 15th at 12pm.
Those attending will learn to identify the specific leather stages for carving clay, how to draw out and apply their designs, and will observe the carving techniques used by Samantha to create her works.
Students will receive leather hard greenware and exacto knives to design their own creations.
