About this Event
Experience a guided sculpting session paired with cocktails (or mocktails) in an evening of creativity, conversation, and connection.
We are delighted to welcome renowned ceramic artist Caroline Winn for a special hands-on workshop inspired by themes of transformation, memory, and the River Thames. Guests will begin the evening with a multimedia talk from Caroline exploring her creative practice, followed by a sensory sketching and sculpting session inspired by objects discovered along the Thames foreshore through mudlarking.
No prior art experience is needed – just curiosity and creativity.
Tickets are £10 per person, with all proceeds donated to Magic Breakfast, a charity supporting more than 350,000 children and young people across England and Scotland each day by providing nutritious breakfasts that help them learn and thrive.
About Caroline Winn
Caroline Winn is a London and Cornwall-based ceramic artist whose work explores themes of memory, landscape, migration, and the natural world through experimental sculptural ceramics. Working from studios near the Thames and in West Cornwall, her practice incorporates textured clays, found materials, and traces of environmental history. Alongside her artistic practice, Caroline is an avid mudlarker, regularly exploring the Thames foreshore to uncover fragments and objects that inspire her work and creative storytelling.
As the workshop will feature a selection of canapés and drinks, may we kindly ask you to inform us in advance of any allergies or dietary requirements.
