CLAY - A New York City Story at the little shop of crafts

Join us at Little Shop of Crafts for a special creative experience celebrating CLAY, a New York City short film and picture book about discovery, imagination, and finding your place in the world.

Created by New York-based filmmakers Kevin Haefelin (writer and director) and Youmi Haefelin-Roch (producer and sculptor), with a picture book illustrated by artists Ada and Ekaterina Mitchev, CLAY follows a baby who hatches from an egg in Central Park and sets off on an extraordinary journey through New York City, discovering the world for the very first time.

We're offering two interactive 90-minute sessions, specially designed for different age groups:

Our youngest guests will enjoy a screening of the 9-minute, dialogue-free short film CLAY, followed by an intimate picture book reading with its creators. Little ones will then participate in a special hands-on arts and crafts activity inspired by the story.
