A Lip Sync Battle Fundraiser Benefiting Shelter AnimalsAn unforgettable night of music, laughter, performances, and community — all coming together to help Paws Cat Shelter. Fearless teams compete in the Nine Lives Showdown but only 4 teams advance to the final round for a chance to win the Golden Paw award and bragging rights forever...Outrageous performances, ridiculous costumes, audience voting and a night everyone will be talking about!
Every ticket purchased, donation made, and sponsorship secured directly supports animals in need through food, medical care, shelter support, adoption efforts and the bulk of the funds raised will go toward a spay/neuter initiative. Helping to prevent thousands of unplanned kittens so Paws can focus on care, not crisis.
Whether you’re taking the stage, cheering from the crowd, or supporting from afar, you’re helping make a real difference.
Why We’re Doing This
Paws Cat Shelter works tirelessly every day to save lives, often while facing overwhelming numbers and limited resources. With more than 400 cats currently in care — including those being fostered off-site — the need continues to grow faster than we can keep up.
That’s why this fundraiser is focused on something bigger than temporary relief. We want to help shift the focus from constant crisis management to prevention and long-term care through spay and neuter initiatives.
Every unplanned litter adds additional strain to the shelter already working beyond capacity. By supporting affordable spay and neuter efforts, we can help reduce overpopulation, minimize suffering, and create a future where we can focus more on healing, adoption, and quality care — instead of simply trying to keep up with overwhelming intake numbers.
Claws & Applause was created to bring the community together through entertainment, compassion, and purpose. Because every animal deserves safety, care, and the chance for a better life.

Be Part of the Show! - Join the fun and enter a team of up to 5 people. 3 - 4 minute lip sync performance (song of your choosing -no singing required). Costumes and props encouraged! General Admission: $20 + donation to a team or teams of your choosing
VIP Admission: $60 + donation to a team or teams of your choosing
VIP Admission Includes:
Early access from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Unlimited pizza, wings & fries buffet
Signature cocktail
Reserved seating
Special Event Incentive: If the fundraiser reaches $15,000, Executive Director Fay Beriau will perform live during the event!
