Showing as part of our new TV Season launch festival, welcome to an evening of classic sci-fi TV with 2 episodes from vintage BBC series Doctor Who, plus extra special guests!We will take you on a journey spanning decades to visit different doctors and different enemies and give you the chance to learn more and quiz our special guests.
Destiny of the Daleks (1979) opening episode of Tom Baker's sojurn as the doctor with arch rivals The Daleks and their leader Davros.
Earthshock (1982) the cult episode starring Peter Davidson as the doctor, and Matthew Waterhouse, our special guest, as the tragic Adric.
(We are sorry we will no longer be screening The Unearthly Child (1963), as previously advertised.)
Special guests we are delighted to welcome for the Q&A are:
Gavin Collinson wrote the Doctor Who novella Snowfall with Mark B. Oliver, which was published online in December 2010 as part of the Adventure Calendar, and Doctor Who and the Horror of Coal Hill for the 2017 Adventure Calendar. He later wrote the dialogue sequences for the Maze Theory video games The Edge of Time and The Lonely Assassins.

Chris and Jeremy Limb, the sons of Radiophonic Workshop's Roger Limb, a British composer, specialising in electronic music, best known for his work on the television series Doctor Who whilst at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.
Jeremy, who played Timothy Drake in the 2024 Doctor Who
episode ‘The Devil’s Chord’, is a solo comedy writer-performer and member of sketch group The Trap. He has appeared as an actor in many TV programmes including 'Miranda' as well as in the film ‘The Death of Stalin’. Jeremy is also a talented musician and has written many songs for his cabaret group 'Kiss and Tell' who have performed live on BBC Radio 3.
Also as part of our special Doctor Who night we are delighted to preview new Doctor Who inspired artwork by Leroy Henry, St Leonards based artist and printmaker. Artworks for sale throughout the TV Festival weekend.
