Classic Social Dancing At the Elks

The afternoon will be geared to the needs and interests of those who attend, but ideally, we'd like to have instruction in the basic Foxtrot from 3-4 and from 4-6, DJ dancing in the historic ballroom of the 1925 Elks Lodge in Van Nuys.
The dances will be the social dances of the first half of the 20th Century. (Foxtrot, Swing, Waltz, Tango, Rumba etc.) as well as Victorian and even earlier if requested.
This will be a friendly, informal and unstructured afternoon, shaped by what you want. Walter takes requests.
Where appropriate, Walter will make use of historical film footage as a teaching aid.
$10 suggested donation (cash only)
Vintage style attire encouraged but not required. Partner not required.
Limited free parking in the attached lot. Metered street parking. Uber/Lyft recommended.
