Classic Series: What’s in a Bubble—A Sparkling Wine Tasting Adventure

Join us for an effervescent journey into the world of sparkling wines, where every bubble tells a story. In this captivating tasting class, we’ll explore the fascinating science, artistry, and history behind sparkling wines from around the globe. From the elegance of French Champagne to the crisp vibrancy of Spanish Cava, the fruity charm of Italian Prosecco, and the innovative styles of New World sparkling wines, you’ll discover the unique characteristics that set these celebratory beverages apart.

As we taste a curated selection of sparkling wines, you’ll learn about the intricate winemaking methods that create the magic of bubbles, including traditional, tank, and ancestral techniques. Dive into the differences between Brut, Extra Dry, and Demi-Sec, and uncover how factors like terroir, grape variety, and aging shape the flavor and texture of each glass.

This hands-on experience will also include pairing insights, showing how sparkling wines elevate foods from salty snacks to decadent desserts. Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or just starting to appreciate the sparkle, this class will leave you with a new appreciation for the bubbles in your glass and the stories they bring to life.

To fully participate in the class:
1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as a cheese plate, wine, and accompaniments for one.
2. Show up on the day of class! Class will begin at 7:30pm. This is a standing event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the class is about an hour and a half. After class, there will be time to tour our cheese caves as well as shop our expansive product selection (at a 10% discount!).
3. This event is for 21+. Our staff will check IDs at the door.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know at least 72 hours before the class is scheduled to take place and we will give you a full refund or a credit for a future class. If you don't let us know in advance of the class, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
