Classic Series: Aperitivo Hour! Cocktails, Cheese, and more!—$75

Aperitivo comes from the Latin word aperire, meaning “to open.” Historically, an aperitivo was an alcoholic beverage consumed before dinner to whet your appetite. Today, it’s a daily ritual that embodies la dolce vita.

Typically, aperitivo hour is defined by vermouth and other spirits for simple cocktails like the Negroni (Campari, sweet vermouth, and gin), Americano (Campari, sweet vermouth, and soda), and the Spritz (Aperol or another amari with Prosecco and soda).

It is also about light snacking: olives, cheese, and chips while you enjoy your cocktail.

At this class, our wine buyer, Colin, will lead you through the steps to make a beautifully balanced aperitif while you enjoy the cheese, olives, and other unique Formaggio Kitchen accoutrements and snacks.

You will leave this class exctied for spring, warmer weather, and with new skills for creating your own aperitivo hour at home!

To fully participate in the class:

1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as a cheese plate, cocktails, and accompaniments for one.

2. Show up on the day of class! Class will begin at 7:30pm. This is a standing event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the class is about an hour and a half. After class, there will be time to tour our cheese caves as well as shop our expansive product selection (at a 10% discount!).

3. This event is for 21+. Our staff will check IDs at the door.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know at least 72 hours before the class is scheduled to take place and we will give you a full refund or a credit for a future class. If you don't let us know in advance of the class, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
