BIG NEWS! Although the Syracuse Cinephile Society screenings have ended, Syracuse's Palace Theatre will be hosting occasional special screenings of classic movies as double feature Sunday matinees!
Each screening will be programmed and introduced by Gerry Orlando and the double features will be genre-themed (two mysteries, two comedies, two westerns, etc.).
The Palace's first double feature show will be on Sunday, September 27th at 2 PM. (Doors at 1pm)
It will be a Mystery Matinee featuring two legendary detectives: Charlie Chan (played by Sidney Toler) and Sherlock Holmes (played by Basil Rathbone) and the features are two excellent ones, both from 1939: CHARLIE CHAN AT TREASURE ISLAND and THE ADVENTURES OF SHERLOCK HOLMES!
Tickets: $10 at the door
