About this Event

Welcome to the Classic City ChessAThon!

At Chess & Community, we host several chess events in a year and this upcoming one is more than anything you have ever been a part of! The Classic City ChessAThon brings everything to life in downtown Athens!

This is for those picking up a chessboard for the first time, or those looking to come play, compete, explore, meet new people, and make your move. With competitive prizes, local businesses, teams, and a city-wide chess experience, there’s a place for everyone at the board.
