Preceded by the single, Starman, Ziggy Stardust reached top five on the UK Albums Chart. Critics responded favorably; some praised the musicality and concept while others struggled to comprehend it. In later decades, Ziggy Stardust has been considered a masterpiece with songs that include Five Years, Moonage Daydream, It Ain’t Easy and Suffragette City.
