Here is your golf forecast for Saturday June 20, 2026:
Mr Paul pulled some strings for the reunion group, and not only landed a tee time block for the ‘81 golf outing, but secured a dedicated beer cart gal to follow all you hackers around.
I really don’t know how he does it, but at 10 am on Saturday 6/20, we have 16 slots available at Saukie GC in Rock Island. That’s 4 foursomes if you really like each other, less if you don’t.
It is open to spouses and also to non-81 alumni, provided they recite the senior pledge before teeing off.
Now, heres the difficult part: You need to let us know if you want to play. Or drive a cart. Or just take pictures and laugh. All is fair in golf, except standing up a tee time. Dont do that.
If you’re flying in for the reunion and you don’t have a set of golf clubs, that’s OK because we can probably fix that problem easily.
And now for the fun part: If we can fill at least half the field, that means eight golfers, we will throw in some special prizes to be had by your exceptional play out on the links. And that could be good or bad play, as we dont discriminate. Every one of you is old enough now to use the senior tees, so I don’t wanna hear any excuses.
