Class of ’79 is a Punk / New wave super band who’s musical pedigree is undeniable. A Punk Rock Jukebox!
Consisting of Steve Crittall / guitar: Steve has had a long and successful career with an impressive list of bands he has been in including The Godfathers (6yrs) The Selecter (3 yrs) UK Subs (48 date U.S tour) Ten Benson (4yrs) Black Bombers (5 yrs)
Phil Thompson/ guitar / vocals: Phil is best known for his dynamic and flamboyant performances as guitarist with The Rezillos, he has also recently been seen onstage as guitarist for Vapors.
Simon Bowley / drums: Simon has been the driving force for punk pioneers Eddie & the Hot Rods for 28 years playing shows all over the world.
Mike Lea / bass : Mike spent many years with Manchester band Sugar Bullets who had a great underground following , he later joined post punk / new wave band Department S.
Strap yourself in for a nostalgic night of Punk and New Wave classics performed by four guys who have been there and got the T-shirt.
