This is the Main Event! Let's come together and celebrate how so many different lives can stay connected over time.
What: Potluck! Live Band (Dave Orlando)! Dessert Competition! Lawn Games!
Who: 1996 Alumni and their families, whatever that means to you. We have space for 250! Come by yourself or bring your whole family!
A few details: This will be a potluck. Be thinking of your best dishes to share. If you don't cook or are traveling, there will be other ways to contribute. In early May, we will get more detailed on this.
Your 30 Year Reunion planning crew has covered the cost for the Shahala Picnic Shelter ($450), the sound permit, the beer/wine permit ($225) and a budget for potluck table set up, plates, napkins, utencils, and at least some N/A beverages.
Shahala Picnic Shelter holds up to 250 people. We will have charcoal grills available and electricity.
Shahala is near parking, restrooms, swim beach, the discovery garden, splash pad, softball, and horseshoes. Volleyball is nearby as well, along with plenty of space for cornhole and other lawn activities. I will post a map.
Parking is $5 per car
(This is Jeni: I want this to be enough fun that even my teens have fun. So really, please bring your kids of all ages and let them know they won't be alone.)
