About this Event
Join us at Clark Gardens on November 2nd, at 10:00am in the Chapel for a special Texas Arbor Day Celebration class, "Trees in Your Edible Landscape," presented by Laura M. Miller.
Laura is the Texas A&M AgriLife Commercial Horticulture Extension Agent for Tarrant County. With a wealth of experience in horticulture and education, she provides invaluable resources and support to both green industry professionals and growers of fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants.
A sixth-generation Texan, Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture and a Master of Education in Agricultural Education from Texas A&M University. She is an ISA Certified Arborist and Texas Certified Nursery Professional and serves on several horticultural boards. Prior to her current role, she worked for seven years as a Commercial Horticulture Extension Agent at the University of Florida.
Don't miss this opportunity to learn how to incorporate trees into your edible landscape from an expert in the field. Laura also grows pecans and peaches on her family's farm, which has been in operation since 1860.
This class is perfect for anyone interested in enhancing their garden with edible trees while contributing to sustainable landscaping practices.
